The breakfast had a good selection, good coffee and fresh fruit daily. Dinner was also incredibly tasty and very reasonable priced. They had a nice pool, we only used it once as the weather was not super warm. Just cross the street and you enter the beautiful historical town of pienza. If you are spending a few days to explore Tuscany I highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms are comfortable, fully equipped, great air conditioning and lovely linens. The hotel restaurant offers a good selection of typical Tuscan specialities and evening dining on the terrace is truly delightful. The breakfast is an exceptionally inviting experience, one of the best hotel breakfast buffets that I have ever had! The hotel even has a lovely swimming pool that is most welcome after a day of arduous touring. The San Gregorio is just steps away from the historic center of Pienza and it also has a covered garage for hotel guests. I highly recommend it and plan to stay there when I next visit the area.
